Morrisville: The Perfect Town

Morrisville is a town in Wake County, North Carolina. Morrisville is part of the Research Triangle metropolitan region. The region's name was originated after the 1959 creation of the Research Triangle, located midway between the cities of Raleigh and Durham. The Triangle is the educational, intellectual, and high-tech center of North Carolina and the South. There are plenty of activities in Morrisville despite its modest size: shop at Park West Village, visit the Triangle Rock Club, the Southeast’s largest indoor rock-climbing facility, or attend classes at Orchid Trail Greenhouses, which doesn’t only grow and sell orchids, but teaches you how to cultivate your own. For foodies, the East Meets West Festival in May will allow you to taste dishes and experience cultures from around the globe. If you prefer the outdoors, Morrisville is home to six parks and community center including Shiloh Community Park, Crabtree Nature Park, and Indian Creek Greenway and Trailhead, which feature endless amenities from volleyball courts and picnic shelters to playgrounds and trails.
